Product Description

The Fluoroplastic Magnetic Drive Pump combines seal-less magnetic drive technology with fluoroplastic (F46/PFA) wetted construction for zero-leakage handling of highly corrosive and hazardous chemicals. Its magnetic coupling eliminates mechanical seals and fugitive emissions, while the non-metallic wetted path resists strong acids and oxidizers. The pump handles flow rates from 0.5 to 50 m³/h at heads to 50 m and temperatures to 100°C. Suitable for concentrated acids, toxic chemicals, and high-purity fluid transfer in chemical and pharmaceutical plants.

Applications

  • Strong acid transfer
  • Hydrochloric and sulfuric acid
  • Chemical dosing
  • Pharmaceutical chemicals
  • Electroplating solutions
  • Laboratory reagents

Quality Assurance

All Fluoroplastic Magnetic Drive Pumps are manufactured under ISO 9001 quality management system. Each pump undergoes rigorous testing including hydrostatic pressure test, performance test, NDT inspection, and dynamic balance verification before shipment. We provide comprehensive documentation including test reports, material certificates, and operation manuals.

Why Choose Our Magnetic Drive Pumps

Fluoroplastic Magnetic Drive

Magnetically coupled pump with fluoroplastic lined wetted parts, combining zero-emission sealing with superior corrosion resistance.

PTFE/PFA Lined Wetted

All wetted surfaces lined with fluoropolymer, handling strong acids, chlorine, and halogenated solvents that corrode metal magnetic pumps.

Zero Leakage + Corrosion

Combines magnetic drive zero-emission benefit with fluoroplastic corrosion resistance for extreme hazardous chemical service.

Dry-Run Protection

Silicon carbide bearings with temperature monitoring provide up to 30 seconds dry-run protection during priming and low-level events.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a fluoroplastic magnetic drive pump?

It combines magnetic drive (zero leakage) with PTFE/PFA fluoroplastic wetted parts for the ultimate in corrosion resistance and emission-free operation for hazardous chemicals.

What are the key advantages of fluoroplastic magnetic drive pumps?

Zero leakage + universal chemical resistance = safe handling of the most aggressive and toxic chemicals. No seal maintenance, no emissions, no risk of lining pinhole leaks at the seal.

What temperature range do fluoroplastic magnetic drive pumps cover?

PTFE-lined: -20°C to 150°C. PFA-lined: -20°C to 200°C. Magnet material (NdFeB or SmCo) determines the upper limit for the magnetic coupling.

What is the maximum flow and head for fluoroplastic magnetic drive pumps?

Flow up to 200 m³/h, head up to 80m for single-stage. Larger sizes may be limited by magnet torque and containment shell pressure rating.

Selection Guide

✅ When to Choose This Pump

  • Hazardous, toxic, or expensive chemicals
  • Zero-emission environmental requirements
  • High-purity pharmaceutical and semiconductor
  • Reducing maintenance on mechanical seals

⚠️ When NOT to Choose

  • Fluids with suspended solids (abrasive)
  • High viscosity above 200 cP
  • Fluids that crystallize or polymerize
  • Very high temperatures above 350C

💡 Common Selection Mistakes

  • Running dry (destroys bearings instantly)
  • Not filtering fluids to <100 microns
  • Ignoring magnet temperature limits
  • Using with gas entrainment
