Product Description

The Fully Fluoroplastic Self Priming Pump is constructed entirely of PFA fluoroplastic for maximum corrosion resistance in extreme chemical environments. Unlike lined pumps, its monolithic non-metallic wetted path eliminates lining failure and blistering risks. The self-priming design enables installation above fluid level, handling flow rates from 1 to 40 m³/h at heads to 40 m and temperatures to 150°C. Suitable for concentrated acids, strong oxidizers, and high-purity chemical applications.

Applications

  • High purity chemical transfer
  • Semiconductor chemicals
  • Pharmaceutical API
  • Strong oxidizing agents
  • Laboratory reagents
  • Electronic grade chemicals

Quality Assurance

All Fully Fluoroplastic Self Priming Pumps are manufactured under ISO 9001 quality management system. Each pump undergoes rigorous testing including hydrostatic pressure test, performance test, NDT inspection, and dynamic balance verification before shipment. We provide comprehensive documentation including test reports, material certificates, and operation manuals.

Why Choose Our Self Priming Pumps

Fluorine Lined Self Priming

Self-priming pump with full fluorine polymer lining, designed for corrosive chemical transfer from above-ground tanks and drums.

Zero Metal Contact

All wetted surfaces fully lined with fluoropolymer, ensuring no metal ion contamination for high-purity chemical applications.

Self-Priming Operation

Built-in priming chamber enables suction lift up to 6m, with automatic repriming after loss of suction.

Back Pull-Out Maintenance

Rotating assembly removes without piping disconnection, with fluoroplastic lined components for easy inspection and replacement.

Key Features

Self-priming up to 6-8 meters suction lift
No foot valve required
316L stainless steel or fluoroplastic lined
Large priming chamber for fast priming
Mechanical seal with oil bath
Portable and flexible installation

Frequently Asked Questions

What does fully fluoroplastic mean?

All wetted components — casing, impeller, cover, and shaft sleeve — are made of solid fluoroplastic (PTFE/PFA), not just lined. This eliminates any risk of lining damage exposing metal.

What are the advantages of fully fluoroplastic vs. lined pumps?

No lining delamination risk, no pinhole leaks, easier inspection, and complete corrosion resistance. Suitable for the most aggressive chemicals where any metal exposure would cause catastrophic failure.

What are the limitations of fully fluoroplastic pumps?

Lower pressure and temperature limits due to plastic mechanical properties. Typically max 120°C and 10 bar. Not suitable for high-head or high-temperature applications.

Can fully fluoroplastic pumps be repaired?

Yes, wetted parts are replaceable. However, solid PTFE parts may be more expensive than lined metal parts. For critical applications, keep spare wetted parts in inventory.

Selection Guide

✅ When to Choose This Pump

  • Portable chemical transfer and drum emptying
  • Applications with frequent suction line changes
  • Above-ground tanks with suction lift needed
  • Temporary or mobile pumping stations

⚠️ When NOT to Choose

  • Continuous 24/7 critical service
  • High-pressure requirements above 60m
  • Very low NPSH hot fluid service
  • Highly abrasive slurries

💡 Common Selection Mistakes

  • Not maintaining priming fluid level
  • Using with suction lift exceeding 8m
  • Ignoring check valve in discharge line
  • Running dry for extended periods
