The API 610 BB3 Axially Split Multistage Pump is a high-pressure, high-temperature centrifugal pump with axially split casing for easy maintenance in refinery and pipeline services. Its multistage design delivers heads from 200 to 2,000 m at flow rates from 10 to 1,500 m³/h, with temperatures to 200°C standard (400°C special). The BB3 configuration provides between-bearing support for rotor stability, with carbon steel, 316L, or duplex construction. Ideal for crude oil pipelines, boiler feed, and high-pressure hydrocarbon transfer.
All pumps are manufactured under ISO 9001 quality management system. Each pump undergoes rigorous testing including hydrostatic pressure test, performance test, NDT inspection, and dynamic balance verification before shipment. We provide comprehensive documentation including test reports, material certificates, and operation manuals.
3-8 stages in series with opposed impeller arrangement cancels axial thrust, eliminating need for balance drum and improving reliability. Each stage generates 80-150 m head for total heads up to 1,200 m.
Between-bearing, axially split casing per API 610 BB3 type, allowing full access to internals without removing piping. Standard for boiler feed water, pipeline boosting, and high-pressure injection.
Precision-machined impellers and diffusers achieve peak efficiency 78-82%, reducing energy consumption by 15-20% compared to equivalent radially split multistage pumps over 10-year operating life.
Each stage is independently replaceable, allowing performance modification by adding or removing stages without replacing entire casing. Reduces spare parts inventory and simplifies future capacity changes.
